Elvis said he was The Greatest and along with Bill Haley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Gene Vincent, the Everly Brothers, and Eddie Cochran they all covered his music. His sexually charged songs and performances led to him being the first performer to have undergarments thrown at him. He had both Billy Preston and Jimi Hendrix in his band, and he influenced all the main players in rock music, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, James Brown, Otis Redding, Tina Turner, Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, Lou Reed, and Patti Smith to name a few. Some people felt it was Elvis or Chuck Berry, but to FRIENDO RECORDS, Little Richard is both the King & Queen of Rock n Roll!
